As a former School Leader, Anne has faced many challenges during her career, many of which centre around managing people, relationships and building a team with the skills, knowledge and qualities needed to drive educational improvement collectively.
As an external expert, Anne will work with you to understand your context and needs to tailor bespoke support which could be onsite/in person and/or remote, as appropriate.

quality assurance and self review
Anne will work with you in a developmental, non-judgemental way to Quality Assure a priority area, year group, subject and/or faculty. Typically this is one or two days and involved understanding your context, talking to students and staff, visiting lessons and looking at student work. Anne will follow this up and work with you to identify developmental actions as well as celebrating successes. Staff development sits at the heart of this work; the aim being to improve experiences and outcomes for all young people, preparing them for the next stage of their lives.
curriculum development, culture and ethos
Anne will collaborate with you to develop a whole-school curriculum that meets the needs of your students. This process will ensure that the curriculum is compliant with the National Curriculum and relevant legislation. By understanding your organisation’s context, Anne will ensure the curriculum, both inside and outside the classroom, supports improvement, aligns with the organisation’s values and vision, and most importantly, improves outcomes for all students, regardless of their starting points.
Accountability and leadership at all levels
IAnne will work with you to build strong and effective leadership while supporting you in managing change. This tailored support will be adapted to your specific needs and context and may include developing clear accountability structures, promoting consistency in line management for all staff, helping you evaluate progress to ensure improvement plans are effective and providing staff training or coaching in areas where support is needed. The goal of this work is to raise aspirations, set high expectations, drive consistency, support staff career development and ultimately improve education for all students.
